Vanessa Vhay is an American Christian recording artist, songwriter, speaker, writer, playwright, and stained glass artist. She is passionate about reaching people for Christ.

Vanessa started performing at eight weeks old with appearances on TV commercials and a soap opera as a baby. She began performing as a singer in show choirs in grade school in New Jersey, moving on to vocal, violin, and theater performances in high school. She picked up guitar and piano in later years with a major in Theater and a minor in violin performance at the University of Maine.

Vanessa left the University and music when she was called to active duty for the Air National Guard due to 9/11. She continued a full-time military career until retirement in 2013. During her time in the Air Force, Vanessa appeared in TV and radio commercials and sang the National Anthem for many formal events.

After retirement, Vanessa performed at small venues with other musicians up and down the East Coast from 2013 to 2014 until she returned to complete a Bachelor's and M.B.A. in Hospitality and Tourism Management at Husson University. She worked as a regional sales director for Giri Hotel Management until the Covid crisis devastated the tourism industry in 2020.

Having run from God for a long season of life, she turned back to spiritual growth and started leading small group Bible studies in 2018 as part of The Rock Church, Bangor, Maine.

In January 2019, she felt called back to music and started playing violin and singing for small events, weddings, and Christmas concerts.

In August 2020, she felt a profound calling by the Holy Spirit during prayer one evening, "Everything became so clear. The love of God washed over me like a waterfall. I could see, in my mind, how he had walked with me through every season, even when I felt so alone. I felt a peace and safety I had never known. I knew then I belonged to Jesus completely and want to spend the rest of my life helping others know this powerful love." Soon after this experience, Vanessa began practicing intercessory prayer at many prayer groups. She entered The Rock School of Ministry and completed two years of Biblical study and sermon training.

In July 2023, she collaborated with several church leaders to organize "The Day of Joy," an outreach at the Bangor Maine Waterfront offering food, haircuts, worship, ministry, and baptisms to the transient community.

In August 2023, she began writing The Miracle of Blessington, a comical musical sharing the power of prayer set to debut in Dec 2023.

Vanessa has two grown daughters and lives in Glenburn, Maine.
